Welcome to my Blog!

Hey, everyone! Welcome to my blog! I am a graduate student that LOVES to read. I wanted to do something a little different this year so started this book blog. On this blog I will mostly do book reviews and I will discuss anything that is book related. I am also doing the African Diaspora Reading Challenge and I am making the commitment to read 12 books this year, which is the Scholar level. That is a lot of books, but I am looking forward to reading more about my culture and the journey my ancestors took to get to American and other places around the world. I am still choosing my books to read for the challenge and I will post my selections soon. I am sooo excited! I just purchased " The Help" by Kathryn Stockett! :) After having a very hard semester in graduate school , I am soo happy that I have time to read! This book looks really good and came highly recommended so I hope it lives up to the hype! I will have a review of it in a few days. Thanks again for visiting my blog and have a Happy New Year!
